Leaving for Philippines - Feb 28th

February 24th, 2006

Where do we go from here? I am listening for God. Feb 28th is very near. I have done this before. I know how. We have done it before, but God, how do You want it done?

Two schools are waiting to pick up where we left off in December. Our vision is to train Philippine pastors and get them equipped to take over these schools. One pastor and his wife are secular school teachers. Another is a very successful shepherd, good at training already. But I’m praying that God will reveal His way in them.

By April 1st, we should be in Baguio where three to four hundred students wait. First, we are praying for a building large enough to hold them. We are believing God for the finances, but the burden in my heart is for teachers for the school. At this point, we do not have any. There are pastors here, but they are just beginning their ministries and have their hands full. So we pray to God for teachers. Simeli calls them ‘aggressive teachers’ with the anointing to teach a group of newly born-again students in such a way that they reach for more.

Paul said, “When it pleased God to reveal His Son in me, I preached the gospel.” We need to move on, but until God gives us the chosen workers, we will stand here. Pray for us, for funds, for places, for people.

Welcome!
