Greetings from a Fiji that feels a little like the North Pole (it’s winter here)! And yet God is doing wonders in our midst. We started a cell group in a village near Nadi, in a house that is sandwiched between two temples, one Hindustani and one Muslim. One of the young ladies was sick all the time with something different each time we saw her. We prayed for her, went to her house and cleansed it by prayer and fasting. Her body grew stronger and we could feel the difference in her house. The feeling of oppression left. We had good Bible studies there.

This same young lady heard that the high priest of the Hindustani temple was taken to the hospital and was not expected to live. He was vomiting blood. His relatives came to our sister and asked if they had heard praying in her house. When she acknowledged that they had, they asked for us to pray for the priest. We did pray for God to reveal Christ to Him. I cried out to God to not let him leave this world without Christ. Orr last report was that the relatives and family were called from overseas and were all coming as he was in cricital condition.

Last night, we had fourteen people in our new church. One was a young lady who is a flight attendant with Pacific Airlines. We had prayed for her the evening before and then on Sunday, she came to our place all by herself. Our group is mostly young men, some of them from F.I.T., Fiji Tech. They are very enthusiastic about the Word of God and very hungry to know more. God is putting together our church!

Saturday, one of our young brothers came bringing ten friends and relatives to our house for prayer. We talked the Word of God with them and then prayed. They were giving their praise report. God had answered their needs without anyone telling us what the needs were. One young lady told us that her husband had left her and she was about to leave the church and go back to the bars and drinking. But when we prayed, God spoke to her and she wept and repented for even thinking about it. The others also shared how God was answering their prayers. Now they are askiing for a regular night for them to meet and study the Word together. God does all things well. Keep praying for this Shiloh Worship Center. God bless you for your prayers!
